A Chant for Futures Found is a call, a hope, a prayer that a Global Healing will come about - that the medium for such will be a spiritual rebirth for mankind, especially among our young people of the planet; this being brought to fruition by way of the Medium of Music. Jazz, the true American Art-form embraced by our New President and World Leader, Barack Obama, carries with it the Healing Balm of Rhythmic Vibration, a Collective Understanding and purposeful Language of deliberate Collaboration.
A Chant for the Hope that the Futures of our young people today, and those yet to be born, are found with prosperity, devotion to humane humanity, world brotherhood and a passion to love one another as a Chord of Harmony improvised and composed by the Creator and Arranger of the Universe.
Let us hear and embrace the Album of “CHANTS for a new day”; to raise an ever increased awareness throughout inner city environs and beyond of the Richness, Dignity and Core American Heritage of the Jazz Music Medium and Inter-Connected Afro-Cuban, Latin American and Brazilian Genres.
As stated so eloquently by the Late Alice Coltrane, devoted wife of the Late Great Jazz Artist John Coltrane, "Music is spiritual," she said. "It's invisible and that's where your faith comes in. It can be seen. It has shape. It has form. Music comes from within your heart, within your soul."
